Col. Terry Virts

Flight 4: we are joined by Col. Terry Virts – Ex F-16 pilot, Astronaut and someone who docked the endeavour and then landed it back on earth. Author of ‘How to Astronaut?’ – (51 short essays to make you laugh and say WOW!) Also, the man who directed the film and created so many special segments within the film – from, wide-eyed school children speaking directly with the crew, to the technical support teams supplied by Qatar Private Aviation as well as the G650ER – an incredible aircraft, along with an interesting insight into Carbon Underground as well as the commitment of all the ground crews on the various parts of the journey – many stories within the story and of course the ORBIT 8 — special individuals who came together to break the record and will now have so many special memories to share and re-tell.

Jannicke Mikkelsen, FNF

Flight 2: I am joined by Jannicke Mikkelsen who was responsible for Live streaming and satellite operation. A young lady who asked herself “Is this mission so important to me that I am happy to risk my life?” – and her answer – “Because I am such a tech nerd, yes, it is!” From an accident falling from a horse to being in a wheelchair to then breaking the record – 46 hours – 40 minutes – 22 seconds – 12 milliseconds.

Col. Gennady Padalka

Flight3: we are joined by Cosmonaut Col. Gennady Padalka, the Man who holds the record of having spent more days in space than any living person – 878 days, 11 hours and 31 minutes. Several expeditions – 10 spacewalks EVA – Extra-Vehicular Activity and has looked down on our world from inside and outside of the International Space Station. Incredible experience as was the interview with the help of Anna Taranenko our translator.
